Content Marketing and Project Management for the Writing Online Accelerator
Writing Online Accelerator is a live cohort-based course that is designed to elevate your writing skills. Build on the science of learning, this 3-week course helps you unlock the power of writing to support and inspire people, accelerate your career, and become a better person. The course takes place on the cohort-based course platform called Maven and is taught by Eva Keiffenheim.
I’ve managed this project end-to-end – from content creation and marketing strategy to lead generation, communication management, and design.
In particular, I wrote copy for different channels to get new leads for the course, for example, the lead magnet. I also crafted long-form content to educate target audience about the benefits of writing and encourage them to consider the course. I developed and executed a comprehensive content plan to promote the course, including building the email list and scheduling promotional messages for email and social media (e.g. LinkedIn) using tools like ConvertKit and Maven. I managed communication with prospective students until the leads are converted. Finally, I designed presentations for all course lectures as well as marketing materials such as a free resource (e-book) using Canva.
Since my work on the project, I’ve helped bring in over 80% of all students who’ve taken the course.
